Hey all, I installed B16 pss10s and I need an alignment. I called the shop and they told me they can do it but I need to tell them how I want it set. I clarified that he meant specific numbers...of which I have no clue, and I'm a little leary about finding some numbers on forums and handing those over.

I then called a general alignment and brake shop and asked them if I have to come with my own numbers. He said, "no no no, just bring it in and we'll figure it out...we have that car in the database." Like he was just gonna set it to stock, not accounting for the drop.

I've read tons about suspension installs and everyone just says get an alignment. I thought it was a general, straight forward procedure... Do I take it to the alignment shop and take my chances that he can get it right? Or figure out some specific numbers and take it to the BMW service shop?

For reference it's a F30 328 base model. I'm shooting for a 20mm drop (which has been tricky, but that's another issue). It's a daily driver that I want to be nice and stable down the freeway, but I also love spirited driving and frequently go on canyon carving drives. It'll most likely never see a track.
