Bbk For F36 435i Opinion - Please Advise
HI i have a 15' F36 435i with the msport breaks:
Front: Brembo 4-piston calipers, painted blue with an ///M logo; 370mm blank brake rotors Rear: Brembo 2-piston calipers, painted blue with an ///M logo; 345mm blank brake rotors I'm looking to buy a preowned BREMBO BBK that was installed on F30 320i with the following dimensions: Front Rotor Size (6 pistons): 355mm Rear Rotor Size (4 pistons) : 345mm Im not sure if there will be significant performance difference, let alone fit on my car. Appreciate your inputs. |

I don't really see the point of replacing your M Sport brakes. |

Brakes are as much about Piston count as they are about disc surface area. I'd not downsize disc size for added piston count. Rather see if there are brembo calipers with more pistons that fit your current brake disc size or bigger. Piston count simply adds to brake feel and initial bite and overall brake pad wear. You still need a big disc to stop the car.
