Incentive
Hello all,
I placed a order this week and finalized the price but I am attending the BMW NA car event next month and I am pretty sure they are going to give incentive for new orders. My question is can I apply that incentive to a car already being built? |

If your dealer is a friendly dealer, yea, you can apply it when you pick up your car. The thing is if the MF/RV changes, you might have to deal with that. You get a 60 day lock, so they would have to "unlock" you and then negotiate the incentive into the price. It really depends on who you're dealing with on how flexible they are in re-opening the deal to apply this. Hey, if it's $1k, you can always negotiate a 50/50 split, so they keep $500 of that as profit, you benefit off the other $500 but I wouldn't offer that up from a starting point.

They should be able to do it. BMW NA helped me apply the incentive once the dealership refused. I wouldn't worry. You can mention my case of how someone else had the incentive applied after the car completed production.

Thanks for the info!!! I'm going to give this a shot once I get the incentive.
