E91 Boot Struts - Get worn out ?
My boot on my 56 plate E91 is very heavy to open, I can only think the struts are tired but I don't want to replace them and find out that it's just the default BMW speed they operate.
Anyone got any tips or knowledge ?

I had mine done under AUC warranty.
Exactly as you describe tailgate was heavy to open & the hinges started creaking with the extra strain! |

My tailgate was quite stiff to open, just before Xmas one of my hinges failed (noticed that the glass hatch also dropped a little), I guess changing the struts is cheaper then having to change the hinges as a preventative try?
