Hello,
I have an 530d G30 already on order. The car will be delivered to me in July. So does anybody know if there will be some changes for 2018 MY?

yes at least in the UK, from July individual paint will be an option
I assume option 776 (alcantara headlining) will be an option as well.

when you look back at the f10 in the first few years there were quite a few changes so it makes you wonder if the same pattern will emerge with the G30.
(those that I can think of were RTTI, extended dash, combox I think was updated and some mild power upgrades)

I knew already, that from July Individual will be able to order, but my Budget is not big enough for Azurite Black and the Alcantara Black headliner

What's your source for the info? Dealer ?

Dealers are utterly useless, in fact likely to miss lead you, this forum from my experience is a good place to start. We ordered a 2017 X5 last December, made sure and insisted for it to be the 2017 version waited 2 months to put the order and told the dealer we simply wait, with all the changes applied BMW to the 2017 version during December, I asked my dealer to confirm the delivery date after we put the order with the quote showing the new version on order, and requested he send me screen shot of what is on the screen so I can check, couple of weeks later! Not to my surprise the idiots ordered the old version, so got them to cancel and re-order the new version.
What you need to do is make sure the order is the spot on, because they always have production slots booked in the system, when you put your order thought 99% your car is going to be attached to a production slot already in line at BMW factory triggered in the past, hence strong chance it will go through before the cut off date and new version production, do not trust them simple double check your production date verses the confirmed date for changes likelly to see here in this forum 1st, I got information in this forum way ahead of dealers as well as BMW UKI.

BMW make changes every time they get the chance, i.e. during holidays when the factory chain is at slow pace if not at a standstill, our X5 2017 changes took place 1st week of December before Xmas break, so look out for German holidays as I guess the G30 is made for European deliveries, and remember they also modify faulty parts, so not always about the options, and yes you do sometimes loose or gain, with the f10 M sport the 2012 lost the option to add the performance pack for the 520d if your car was equipped with paddles that come with the sport gear box, and the seats stitching was also lost for the sport seats as well as a reduced standard i-drive size.

I am waiting for the 1st upgrade as we learned the hard way with my wife 2011 X3 just traded in for the 2017 X5, the X3 was on of the 1st produced, with many years buying BMW’s it was shocking how a lemon of that magnitude was possible with a BMW.

the alcantara headling was verbally confirmed by a dealer but I have not seen anything in writing myself about that as of yet.

as I said be interesting to know what might be around the corner . biund to be somethings. (actually thinking about it now did I read something about traffic light assist? might be certain markets only that one).

once the coders have had a play it might reveal some hidden features not yet turned on possibly???
