Why some of the performance cars have floating calliper at rear???

M5/6 even the ccb option one, aplina B7, Mercedes c63/s, gtr.
Why? These cars are way more expensive than our f3x. Even us can option fix caliper rear m brake. Don't think it is cost.

Something to do with the electronic E Brake they have. Always pisses me off when I see it.

Definitely looks like shit and cheap. But g30 5 series has electronic e-brake. It has blue m brake at rear. So it is doable right
