Any Street Pads Recommendation?

Wondering if anyone has upgraded their brake pads from OEM? If so, any recommendations?

Upgrade?

As in more stopping power? The stocks are pretty darn good for the street...

If going to a non black dusting pad is an upgrade, the M3/M4 folks already have that sorted (Check their board for the specific links) . I put on PowerStops (available on Amazon and others).

Not a performance upgrade, but my wheels now stay clean looking between washes, have satisfactory street performance, and got it done for <<$100 for both axles

That was an upgrade for me...

If you are looking for something that has slightly lower dust levels and a slight increase in friction, look at the Porterfield R4-S.

Right, without doing any research I thought I'd ask fellow forum members. My conclusion is to stick with OEM. Thanks for the help!

That's my go-to also... They work pretty well for rear pads on the track too, though I ususally run Raebestos ST-43's in the front and the R4 in the rear which is their basic race compound.

Yes, they can be used on the rear for track pads if you don't need anything too aggressive for the back. All you had to do is swap front pads come track day!
