Ordered M Performance BBK....keep pads or go M3 pads?

I bit the bullet and finally ordered the yellow M Perf BBK. In my reading, some people seem to complain that the initial bite is quite soft and surprising for this kit. I've also read some discussion that the F80 M3 OEM pads are a direct fit and a much better pad for street use.

My idea: buy a set of F80 M3 pads to use with the new M Perf BBK kit and switch to the included M Perf BBK pads only on HPDE weekends, essentially making them my Track Lite pads. Does this make sense?

The accepted opinion around here seems to be that F80 ads are the best.

My advice would be to try your included M performance pads before ordering something else and spend more, either you like them and you save money or you don't and you'll know why

I'm quite happy with my M Perf pads, haven't felt the need for something better yet.

I think you should make sure you code the m perf brakes and try the pads before buying a new set. That is what i will be doing it.

I ordered power stop z23. Heard they are like oem and no brake dust. Should be trying them out sometime this week, I'll report back.
