I assume you are talking about the 7424 and the and the dewalt 849.

I don't want to come off as rude, but just by you asking that question i don't need to know anything else about you...

Those are two totally different machines....one is for amateurs and one is for professionals....

Get the porter cable.....

Agreed....you need to do more research before comparing two completely different machines. THe PC is a better bet for you or the Flex Dual Action Rotary if you can spend more. The Dewalt is a tool for professionals and people with a good amount of detailing experience.
