Just picked up my new beast today. Ordered it Feb 17 and it arrived sooner than expected!

2017 540i xDrive
Carbon Black Metallic
Canberra Beige
Cold Weather package
M Sport package
Driving Assistance package
Premium package
Apple CarPlay
HK sound system

Love the look of Carbon Black!

I've only driven it 12 miles, so I will report back later on driving impressions (coming off an F10 2014 M5). But the engine is lively and plenty powerful. The ride is well balanced - not too soft in Comfort and not too firm in Sport. Steering isn't as responsive as the M5, but it isn't far off! Brakes are excellent. All-in-all an excellent package.

I'm looking forward to getting to know this super capable car better!

Love Carbon Black on White. I struggled between Carbon Black and Dark Graphite, and ultimately went with Dark Graphite. In a more perfect world I would have one of each.

Also, you ordered Feb 17 and took delivery now?! That's got to be a pleasant surprise.

Beautiful. Loving the carbon black, I was close to going with this along with bluestone, but decided on med blue.

I gave the new beauty a wash and wax after one week of ownership - it's a great way to get to know the new lines on the G30 versus the F10.

Blackfire Wet Diamond is easy to apply and wipe down, and it leaves a super slick surface.

A bit OT : how tall are you? Because I noticed from pic that you have roof window.
I am 188cm and when I have been sitting in G30 with it I felt a bit strange.. same as in 7er....well and in 4er I couldnt sit normally because of hitting roof with my head.
It´s strange because I feel average height but in all cars with roofwindow I hit/touch roof..
Without it I feel much more comfortable and "free"..

Congrats on your new car.
Having seen your pictures, i am changing my order from black interior to canberra beige.

The reason i did not go with it initially is that german configurator shows bottom part of the doors , bottom part of the center console and also the floor all beige when you select LCDO Canberra beige.

But in your pictures, all these parts are black and i love it.

To avoid any bad surprise when my car arrives, could you please let me know what the option code for upholstery in your order was? That would mean a lot to me, i dont want to rely on dealers confirmation.
