After mppsk was fitted iv noticed that when locking the doors with the engine still running the horn now beeps twice has anybody noticed any other things that have changed (apart from the noise and power difference )

My car came with MPPSK from factory but my last 335 never did that (or at least never noticed thus why it suprised me).

I bet it was probably just a software update. My 16 340 doesn't do it but my 17 x5 does it. Kinda jarring the first time it happens when you aren't expecting it!

My car only chirps when locking with the engine off, no horn. When locking with the engine running it only flashes the lights with no chirp or horn, this is without MPPSK. I thought it odd it would still lock with the engine running. I also noticed you can turn on the radio and I drive without the key, though you can't use the homelink without turning on the car. You do need the keyfob in order to start the engine.

My 16 340 doesn't but every 2017 I've driven has. So must be just a new thing included with the ECU tune on MPPSK, so I wonder if 2016 340i's fitted with MPPSK from the port do it...

Yep happened to me the other day I was like wtf. Then realized my car was still running. When my car is in eco mode it's so quiet. Mine was installed at the dealer not port installed since it's a '16.

Has nothing to do w/ the MPPSK. Your software must have been updated at the same time. My '14 320 would make no sound when locking (w/ comfort access) while the car was running. At one service visit towards the end of the lease (last fall I think), they did a software update and after that is when the horn would beep twice when I locked it while running. My new '17 340 does it as well.
