Luxury or Performance?

What do you look for when you decide on the cars you gonna buy?

THere's people that go for luxury and people that go for performance

I personally go for performance. Since cars are for DRIVING....i rather get something that is good for driving(that's why i bought a BMW)

My friend was strugging at deciding whether to buy the Audi A4....or the BMW 3 series.....and decided to get the A4......because he said they have BOSE sound system and the car has more buttons for you to play around with.

Just curious.....what you guys look for in a car

What I look for in a car is if I could drive it on a daily basis. I ordered a 330i because overall it's the best car I can buy right now. It looks great, comfortable to drive, and has more than enough power. If I wanted something more luxurious I would have bought a Lexus, and if I wanted pure performance I wouldve bought a preowned E46 M3.

Car

I understand what you are saying. But the ride comfort in the E90 is a bit too harsh for everyday driving I think. I'm not saying the E90 is bad, but what I was looking for on a daily basis is not what I got. I'm a bit disappointed I suppose.

There was just a poll on this topic. the resutls were weighted towards performance if I remember correctly.

hitting the nail on the head.but there can't be something as 'sufficient power' in my book

And we talked about this issue several times I remember.

This is more like a balance. If you wanted pure performance, you'd get an econobox racer like an EVO or STi (which I still can't figure the rubric of "luxury" - funny how they're performance cars yet they offer some amenities of a luxury car).

If you got an E90, you already compromised yourself. You just sacrificed some performance for luxury. So don't say you got an E90 purely for performance, as you obviously did not.

DITTO to both...although I havent received my E90 yet, Bimmerman7's comments concern me. I am looking for something that has the preformance but also has the luxury. I dont need an "M" but it's nice to have some power.

M.
