Coincidence or FRM module failure?
So a few days ago my front passenger door stopped locking/unlocking, few hours later my driver's side angel eyes fail
I have full led bulbs and mtec led angel eye bulbs fitted by a previous owner. Not sure how long they have been fitted, the angel eyes always flash when starting the car or if i don't turn them on; is that normal? I've just ordered some new mtec angel eye bulbs, I'm guessing if i fit the new bulb on the drivers side and the angel eye still doesn't work,. It'll be the FRM module? It's a E90 2006 330i Msport Is it likely to just be a door motor and bulb or is it more common for the FRM to start packing up? I've checked all fuses and they are fine Cheers |

It's probably related to the failed angel eye bulb. But the FRM doesn't sound like it's dead. It's more likely the short circuit counter needs resetting.
The flickering you describe is normal. You can code the warm and cold bulb checks out which would stop this. |

Good news for me, replaced bulb and all working again. Which means i now also need to replace the door actuator
Old angel eye led circuit board was blown and melted. Look like cheap versions, unbranded Thanks for your help |
