XI - 19" 8.5" 235/35/19 and 10" 235/35/19?

I have a weird setup question I'd love to have confirmed for a pre-LCI 335xi e92. I have the opportunity to buy some wheels but the specs are worrying me:

19" 8.5 et35 front, 10 et40 rear
235/35/19 all around

The seller has a pre-LCI e90 335xi on air ride (I'm also on airliftt) and claims that the rolling diameter is within spec and "drives fine." But I've heard mixed info regarding the more you stretch, the smaller the overall diameter becomes. Especially because the recommended rear tire to go along with the 235/35 front is 265/30.

So, obvious stretching and ride quality aside, I would really love to know if this setup will be okay with my xdrive system. If not I may consider still buying the set and getting some 265/30s mounted on the rears.

Thanks in advance!

Usually you go 235/275 with 19s to be within spec.

Would look stupid having the rears stretched so much more than the fronts. Would a 265/30 not be similar rolling radius?

Agreed, but really just wanted to know if the xdrive system would be okay with it. After more research it looks like the majority believe stretching a tire does NOT reduce the rolling diameter, so in theory it would work. But I opted not to buy those wheels/tires and instead went with a new set of VMR v705s from a vendor friend. One of the last sets they'll ever make too. Specs are:

8.5 et35
9.5 et33

Planning on buying some Ventus V12 Evo2s at:

225/35/19
255/30/19

I'm an LCI xi so this may not be 100% applicable to you but my setup is:

Front: 19x8.5 +32, 235/35-19, -2.25 camber
Rear: 19x9.5 +32, 275/30-19, -2 camber

The front is fine, the rear rubbed until I rolled the fenders. I get a very slight rub on the driver's side if I go over a huge bump at highway speeds but otherwise nothing.

Thanks for the post. Yeah I hear the LCI is about 8mm "wider," so my 9.5 et33 on 255/30/19 should work just fine if you're barely rubbing at 9.5 et32 (basically et24 when you tack on the LCI 8mm) on that fatter tire.
