one key for two BMWs
I tried a search, anyone know if it's possible to program a key to work for two cars, I know about the security code so I'm guessing this isn't possible but it would be great to not have to keep up with two keys, other car is an E70 X5.

According to all the SAs at my dealer the answer is no. Too bad - it certainly would be nice to carry only one key

dammit, car 'keys' are getting too big, sure it makes them easier to use but I wish the BMW (Audi, Porsche too) key was only half as thick.

are you the type that uses 1 key chain for all your keys? with CA all you need is the key fob in your pocket and all is good...must have option IMHO

Only the two BMWs on one keychain if I could, now that my wife is willing to drive the M3 since it has DCT we'll be trading cars depending on our schedules with regard to our kinder. Getting CA.
I saw that the M5 and X6 get soft close doors, curious. I know, more weight. |
