Guts to remove air bag sticker

Those stupid visor stickers are an eyesore. I get my G30 next week and just don't think I've got the guts to try to remove them. I've read mixed reviews on the various "techniques" to get them off. Some suggest it's best to attempt on brand new car so the witness shadow from removed label isn't visible. Anyone have a view or suggestion?

Yes. Buy a drivers side visor for a right-hand drive car instead. I did that (the other way round) for my F31. Need to track down an appropriate chassis number to do it on my G30.

Swap chassis numbers with me?

Sweet idea. I wanna do the same. Hate those stickers. But will it fail mot or lose warranty if you do it?

Very easy. Do it. Don't have your nice car look like a rental inside.

First remove the visors from the car. Where the hinge is, on the F10 it was held in by one screw (which may be under a plastic cover that snaps open), and the electrical has a clip to disconnect.

Nail Polish remover works great (I had first tried rubbing alcohol unsuccessfully).

Lay the visors down. Soak a paper towel with the nail polish remover. Lay it on the sticker and leave for about 10 minutes. Then the sticker will rub/peel off very easily leaving no residue. Wipe with water to remove any lingering nail polish smell. Dry with a hair dryer on LOW.

Mine came off every BMW I've owned, cloth or vinyl with no ghosting using isopropyl alcohol, a terry washcloth and a lot of rubbing. About 10 mins per side. Once the sticker starts falling apart, it goes quickly.

For sure a video but anyone that has done on a G30 with before and after pics and a brief on the procedure they used might be easier and extremely valuable.

I'm sure I ready soaking a kitchen roll type material in the nail varnish remove for a while and then take it off. Let it soak through the sticker.

Unfortunately all my cars have them removed. But, until the next one arrives and I can shoot a video - picture this - terry wash cloth wet with rubbing alcohol and a lot of reaching up and rubbing. not very complicated at all
