Bilstein b6 with stock spring
Hi
Has anyone tried this setup? Im deciding if I should also get a set of lowering springs with it (Most likely ACS). Does anyone have any experiences with b6 with stock springs and it's pro/cons? Thanks! |

although i do not have personal experience with the setup you're inquiring about, with stock springs use the B6 and with lowering springs use B8 or koni yellow.

Makes for a good base setup, ie cuts out the wallowing of stock shox, but if your an enthusiast, stock cheapy springs with b6 will probably leave you wanting for more. I wouldn't recommend b6 with acs on stock bump stops, but with bump stop tweeks makes for a nice tight setup, can feel a little over dampened at times but overall quite good. The options with b6 all have there compromises, depends whats most important to you. |

Thank you, all I'm looking for is to get rid of the floaty feeling and reduce body roll by a bit. I think I will go with the stock springs for now and see how I like it.

Not many options on the b6 fronts but to cut the blistein bump stops in half. On the rear I felt a reduced height bump was needed and opted for m3 stops giving around 10-15mm damper travel before the stops come into play. |
