JB4 Different Maps Thread

Hey guys,

Getting BM3 on the car tomorrow, so thought I'd put together a couple of videos of the JB4's maps in case anyone is thinking of getting one. Once I have BM3 installed, I'm going to take another set of videos for comparison between BM3 + JB4 vs. BM3 alone vs. JB4 alone.

On another note, I'm setting up an instagram page for mostly modded cars called modmeets. The page is already existant, but tomorrow I'll start uploading content, with videos like this and much more (Not strictly BMW cars). So if you'll give that a follow, I'll be thankful.

curious what your map 6 settings look like.

How are you liking bm3?

I just miss the JB4's pull at high RPM. Tried running a custom Map 6 with small boost targets (BM3 is amazing, but I feel like I need more) but the car keeps getting a sort of hiccup at high RPM, so Map 0 for me until me and my tuner figure something out.

BM3 power delivery is linear, so I don't feel the torque as much as I did with JB4 when the boost suddenly kicked in.

That's why I sometimes drive with ECO and gear shift to left--gives a big delay and then sudden acceleration. Most people probably don't like that but I find it entertaining from time to time.
