Getting excited! Taking my M2 on her first track event to mosport DDT. First of many for this summer. Thanks to Mike in his e92 M3 for signing us up! Here to good weather!

I was just there on the 23rd. You're going to have a great time...new ddt layout is fun!

Looks like I'll see you there, it'll be my 228i's last track day. I just spent the the last 2 days on the GP track with Trillium.

So far the weather is showing rain and 10 degrees. I had the same weather at calabogie last year, fun sliding in the corners as the tires never really got warmed up.
I haven't driven the new track, I'm looking forward to it. The car is stock with a jb4, I'm curious to see how it feels. I've driven her spirited, but never wide open yet.

Enjoy folks! I assume this is the Pfaff day, I believe True North members have some sort of discount for this event. Haven't been to the new DDT yet, would love to go when the weather is warmer.

Good luck today! Driving in the rain can be fun and teach you more and increase your sensitivity. I had a day on the GP track where it was 3-11 degrees with rain. It was fun, but was a bit nervous ( an e30 hit the wall ). Just be super aware of the feel.

Report back and let us know how she handles!

It was good fun, but very loose. Sport+ was too much for the wet track, mdm mode was perfect.
The skid pad proved to be stickier then the track. I had a hell of a time breaking loose.
I'm happy to get out, interested in Cayuga nights. I'm told there's a couple of 5-9 events on couple fridays in may.
All in all it was a good event!
Video to follow...

Interesting news/runour. Chatting with the pfaff sales staff, they are under the impression the m2 cs will have the m3 engine (wasn't clear which m3 engine the current or the new on coming) and will not be sold in parallel with the m2 but replace it. Thought I'd share...
