Parking brake cable adjustment

guys, my brake is almost contacting my center arm rest. 2017 manual, purchased 10/19, ~6700mi, never tracked. I am not due for service for some time so is this a diy or do I take it in? mucho thx, love this car

You do not adjust the cable. You adjust the parking brake shoes at the drums in the back through one of the lug holes.

thx, you sure its not a combo fix?

Check the shoe adjustment first. It's under warranty so let the dealer mess with it.
