ZeeVaughn's E92 Daily Build thread **SOLD**
What's up guys, heres a little thread on my E92. I've only owned it a year now but its been a fun (expensive) little progression. Been some ups and downs but I still have some ways to go i'd say.
I came from the Audi community. I sold my B5 A4 that I had for a few years and started looking for a new ride. I wanted to move on to another turbo car and the e90/e92 seemed like a good fit. My buddy that i was stationed with for 4 years had a 07' xi so I was kind of familiar with the platform. Long story short I stumbled upon a 07' e92 space grey on coral red on this forum. puppydax was the previous owner, who cared for it meticulously so I jumped on it and within a few days bought it http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1286653. Me and him are still in contact today, he is a great guy and the interaction we had for the deal couldn't have been better. When I bought it, it was already set up pretty well with the following mods: here are some pics as well for the condition I bought it in ZHP 6 Speed Knob Hexon Inlets Spec 2+ w/ Steel SMFW VRSF 5" Stepped FMIC Godspeed Adjustable Toe Arms Fuel-It Stage 1 (GSL 392) PE Mod w/ Magnaflow 4" Tips H&R Sport Lowering Springs OEM Front Aero Lip Mtech Rear Bumper with Performance Diffuser VMR v710 Now the car currently has the following mods and this is as it sits: FBO+VTT Stage 1's Current Mods: Exterior/Interior M-tech front bumper Arkym style lip M-tech Rear Bumper Performance Diffuser CF CSL style trunk 19” Gunmetal VMR V710’s Tunerstock m3 rep side skirts ECS tuning front strut bar ZHP shift knob Matte grey aluminum interior trim wrap Carbon fiber steering wheel trim Performance/Suspension VTT stage 1 turbos VRSF inlets VRSF stepped 5” FMIC VRSF charge pipe VRSF catless downpipes Tial BOV w/ upgraded vacuum port Spec stage 2+ clutch w/ steel SMFW BMS DCI RB PCV valve BMS upgraded clutch stop BMS clutch valve Fuel it stage 1 w/ GSL 392 PE mod exhaust 4” Magnaflow tips Cyba air scoops H&R sport lowering springs Godspeed adjustable toe arms Like I said I still have more to go on this car before I give it a rest. I'll work on posting up all the progress down below!

So when I first purchased the car I was happy with how it was and drove it how it was for a few months. In September I got deployed so I had to leave the car after only putting a few hundred miles on it. For Christmas I decided to buy myself some things for it while I was over there, to come home to. So I hopped on here and ordered everything else I needed to go full bolt on from Mike at Extreme power house, vinyl wrap for the interior. In addition, I ordered my side skirts and a carbon fiber front lip that only made it 1 day.
After a few weeks I said screw it, and decided to look at turbos and heard great things about a shop called BoostHaus near me in California. Emailed back and forth until I pulled the trigger on some VTT stage 1's and everything to bring my maintenance up to date. spent some time with the fam when I got back in january then went to my buddy's house and picked up all my stuff I had ordered. Unfortunately somehow when I got back I had zero coolant from a hairline crack in my water pump housing. To add to that my battery had weakened over my deployment and fried a fuse and the new water pump they installed so they threw in a new one under warranty and a new battery. To make things worse the two truck driver backs my car into a cement wall and damaged my bumper. Next thing I did was install that front lip I got in a group buy. I quickly found out aero front's are ugly with lips and I damaged it the first bump I went over so I scrapped that and ordered a M-tech front with arkym style lip that same day lol. It was a bad move, so I sold it to a mother forum member and ordered this Mtech front with arkym lip. Next thing I did was wrap my interior trim from wood to matte aluminum I think it was. It was 3m wrap, I picked up the supplies to do it from labor freight and spent a saturday doing it. I then purchased a CSL style trunk from a forum member and had that sitting around

Most recently, I found a shop in Sacramento from a friend with an E92 M3 who said they could take care of my paint work. So I had all the exterior pieces painted.
Installed the trunk, skirts, and bumper over the weekend After a while for waiting for my turbos to be ready and finding some time off work I brought my car to BoostHaus for the install of everything plus the turbos and maintenance. needed that walnuts blast badly

Flashed the MHD stage 2+ tune for now yesterday. Car feels good and has no issues at this point. I'm in contact with Ken at wedge performance, and he's getting me started for a custom 91 tune and later on e40

Miss that car! Sold my Subie and looking to get into another one. Subie was a fun ride, but not as mod friendly. Not to mention, blowing up stock at 25,000 miles while cruising on the freeway. T_T. Looking great, really jealous of the arctic silver trim. Always wanted to do that.

Thanks everyone! I've since got my second 91 tune revision from ken WedgePerformance the car pulls hard and has not had any issues so far! I'm pretty content where I'm at because it is my daily right now, but I would like to go e85 mix sooner or later

It's been a while lol I've been wanting to run spacers for a while but my ride height now on the H&R lowering springs would rub so I went a picked up some KW V1 coilovers from a forum member. I am sending the fronts to be rebuilt because one is leaking and then will install them. I went through this process when I helped my buddy remove his on his E46 to have them rebuilt. Lead time is about a month so it'll be a while until I can install them but that gives me plenty of time to pick up some spacers and hopefully some M3 control arms.
with that being said, I should have some H&R sport springs up for sale if anyone is looking lol

So, I decided to get some wrap done on some parts of the car. Initially I just wanted the window trim done for the shadow line look, but after talking to the guy who runs the wrap company we decided on the window trim, roof, and mirrors all gloss black. Also, he de-hazed and tinted my side markers. All in all, I absolutely love how it came out, and now just need to either powder coat my wheels black or look for a new set. Anyone in the Bay Area of Cali, go to Dave from Alphawerks for any wrapping needs, he's amazing check him out on instagram.
