MPPSK + Another Tune?

Anyone done Dinan or JB4 on top of MPPSK?

I've got a new 440i coming in July with MPPSK and as much as 360hp is nice, being closer to 400hp would be nicer!

Curious to see what everyones thoughts are and if anyone has done this - any dyno results??

I personally would just wait for flash tuning but MPPSK + JB4 + catless downpipe running map 1 would be pretty cool in the interim!

Was speaking with a BMW technician on the weekend and he said if you install JB4 on a car with the BMW power kit the JB4 overrides the power kit so all you are getting is the boost in power from the JB4. Not sure how accurate that is?

He's retarded. DME is still the brains. Jb4 just hits different targets. They essentially fight one another.

JB4 is additive so regardless of whether you have MPPSK or not, the delta in hp/torque gains are the same

I have a 440 with mppsk and I added jb+. The car is definitely noticeable faster with it on. Very happy with the car so far. The car is definitely underrated and prob over 400hp with just the mppsk.

Hey just wondering do you think the difference from the power increase you feel from stock to MPPSK is the same as going MPPSK to JB4 combo?

My car came port installed with mppsk, but I did drive a non mppsk car before hand and I believe there is a pretty noticeable difference. I would say the jb+ was not as significant of increase in power comparing a stock car to a car with mppsk although I can definitely tell the jb+ is there. Maybe when I dial it to max it will be more noticeable.

Is this still the prevailing view? That for a car already equipped with MPPSK the best way to get more power (best bang for buck) is a JB+ or Dinan Sport?

yeah so no - chances are just maybe there have been some tuning advancements made since we abandoned this thread 17 months ago - that said if you want a piggy-back I'm sure there are any number of members willing to sell now that they are flashed

Speaking of the devil, I drove a mppsk 340i today with just a dinan stage 1. Power delivery is smooth it’s not like a sudden kick like the JB4. My car on map 5 is definitely quicker with the 5” catted dp. I probably would prefer the dinan sport over the JB+
