Any successful E90 headlight upgrade

Hey everyone,
Has anyone successfully upgraded their 2006 E90 Headlights to Xenon without error codes, water leaks or other issues.

A few years back I purchased a pair of aftermarket lights on Ebay, had lots of issues, had to change ballasts and decoders a few times to get them working, but they would only be good for a month or two then issues would reappear.

I went back to stock, but perharps manufactures are building them better nowadays.

Any feedback??

Way way way back when I had my 07 328 I did the upgrade. Had no issues and used all OEM components except for the ballasts. Total cost of setup was like $1400 and I swappped everything out with a friend of mine.
