My 2 cents: Perhaps look into a vinyl wrap.. There are a ton of color options that come really close to BMW OEM paints.
On the other hand, if you're looking for something permanent my vote would go to Java green. But i'm partial to loud colors.

I find laguna seca blue to be too light for my liking. How about Leman blue? With gloss black roof?

These things are always quite subjective, but, if your preference is to stand out, then my vote goes to Java Green.
http://www.bmwblog.com/2017/05/01/ow...m2-java-green/ I've seen the Austin Yellow M2 (Michael Fux special order $13k from BMW Individual) and found it underwhelming. I like the color on the M6, but it just didn't seem to fit the M2. Sakhir is a beautiful color and may go well, but for me for some reason I feel it fits the bigger M cars much better, aka M3, M5, and M6GC. Estoril Blue is classic and beautiful, and it's available on a lot of non M cars, as well as some previous M cars also, so it may be a good choice for not standing out too much, but having some color on your car. If it was me, I would leave the MG though. I fell in love with this color on the M2, and find it fits the character of the car perfectly. It is stealthy and sleek, shows off the lines, isn't quite black but is nice and dark, and just looks so good on the M2. Note my M2 is MG but normally I love bright flashy colors, had a superman combo X6M (Monte Carlo Blue with Mugello Red interior), but for me the M2 is a dish served best stealthy and cold, in Mineral Grey... |

Actually that java green m2 found in the link was what got me to consider java green in the first place. Below is a picture of my previous e90 The other option would be this shade of blue. I'm not sure if its Miami blue or San marino blue similar. Found it on instagram.

Oops, I had it in mind that yours was MG, but that may have just been the soup in my head
You can just ignore all that MG talk then, hehe. That M2 does look nice. No idea on the color. I had for 4 days an M4 (bought used, had been money shifted, promptly returned) which was Violet Blue II. Amazing shade of blue. It is a non metallic flat paint (not matte) and it was really beautiful. You might want to check out that color also; it's different and quite unique, since most of the popular non "frozen" aka matte BMW blues are metallic. You can never go wrong with a myriad of blues on a BMW! |

The one you found is a dark photo due to lighting at that location, or maybe editing, or exposure of the photo.
I attached a few of the ones of my M4 (RIP) that give a more accurate representation of Violet Blue II And an article with some decent shots also: http://www.bmwblog.com/2016/01/15/on...-bmw-m4-coupe/ |

Get a wrap. Reprinting cars’ usually a bad idea unless you have major $$$$$ and don’t care about the depreciation hit.
*repainting not reprinting. And for those that say all cars depreciate - I’m not buying a painted car no matter what. Last edited by OSee; 06-11-2017 at 10:10 PM.. |

Out of those, probably SO.. but I'd go Silverstone if I were doing it on my theoretical M2.
