Koni shock issues

So I installed these back in Sept timeframe. I has H&R paired with them and thought they road too hard. I went back to the stock m sport springs and it's seems to bounce in the rear. It's especially noticeable when just letting go of the brake. It's feels like the car is pitching side to side almost like the wheels are out of balance. When to get them road forced balanced and they said it was within spec. I recently put on m3 control arms and AKG subframe bushings and got an alignment. I have changed the rebound from soft to firm and it doesn't seem to help at all. I pulled the shocks to make sure they arent dead and they are all good. Car pulls straight but it's not smooth on the highway unless it's on a smooth road. (On concrete it rides perfect, I don't know if that's just a mental thing.) Toward 80mph is starts to become unstable a little. Could it be the Conti DWS? They are relatively new.

It's to the point now where I bought swift springs to install to see of that helps. My GF is getting annoyed being a bobblehead all the way to work.

Does anyone have any ideas what it could be?

How is this from tires out of balance or springs? It just not making any sense! Try to have someone else drive the car to determine the issue. That might help. To ride smooth suspension frequency need to be spot on. That depends on springs and from dampers too. The issue might be the front. Might be the damper setting. Might be the damper bushings. Just removing the rear shock and going from soft to firm won't help as you have found out.

Yea, when I install the springs I am going to do a once over on all the shocks. I hate the fact that the rears have to be taken out to adjust. such a PITA.

They don't have to be removed. You just need the correct tools and know-how. It has been covered. Search for the tread. Remove the nut with drive-thru socket and then push the shaft down with long inbus and adjust. You will need tools like these:

What bump stops are you using? I agree this doesn't sound like a shocks issue but if that's the only thing changed, that's where you should look.

Does this look correct for the rear shock? Looks like there is almost no travel. This picture is at ride height.

It looks like you didn't go with a shorter profile bump stop. I think this is recommended when installing lowering springs. What you're experiencing is probably the fact you're riding on the bump stops all the time. Is this the ride height while loaded or on jack stands?

There is suspension travel. Look like 10-13mm before contact with stop bump. Then probably at least 10-13mm more after contact because the bump stop compresses and serves as spring aid.
