Looking for new brakes for Track / Street

So I've had my 340i for about a year now, and I'm looking to get a set of performance brakes that work well on the track, but don't squeak like crazy on the street. Looking to spend less $1000. Can someone also recommend a good place to buy them / get them installed in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area).

Thanks!

Less than a grand. I'm interested myself.

OP if you have the blue calipers, i would just get new pads and replace with higher boiling fluid.

If you don't have the blue calipers, then I would do the m performance brakes. These will run you alot more than $1000; more like $1750 with install. There are no full brake sets with calipers for under $1000.

New pads like EBC yellowstuff, castrol SRF... You don't need to do more than that. If you're having brake problems on the track at that point, you're probably braking too much. Nothing you can do for <$1000 beyond this will be worthwhile.

Upgrade to stainless brake lines, swap the fluid out for Castrol SRF or Motul 600 or 660 etc and upgrade your pads. If you are running in novice or lower intermediate run groups you can get away with a single pad like the Hawk 5.0. Its very quiet and will stand up to light track use. If you are running in higher level run groups you will need more pad and will need to run two sets ie Hawk 5.0s for street and Hawk DTC 60's for the track. That will easily eat up most of your budget especially if you are running 2 sets of pads.

Last month or so I spent about $900 on pads alone. G-Loc GS1s for street and G-Loc R12/R10's for track.
