Does the addition of jb4 to 440 with mppsk change the exhaust note , tone or burbles at all?

Just wanted to let everyone know someone over in the N54 tech forum stated no change in exhaust tone/burbles with JB4. He has tried with all applicable maps - all the same

That is correct, the exhaust tone shouldn't change.. Might be a touch louder when you step on it as you are running more boost / air, but nothing major.

Piggyback tunes will not change the exhaust tone on any car ... As Mike mentioned more spool sound because of higher boost but not the actual exhaust tone (burbles,etc..)

so in theory, the turbo should be louder but not so much the engine.

if you want burbling, you need to remove cats and/or resonators.

my recommendation is to always get a downpipe (catted or catless)
