Charge Pipe questions f30 335i n55 engine

Hello, i have a 2013 f30 335i sedan xdrive m sport body style.

Will be getting a catless down pipe and jb4 so ill be needing a charge pipe.

Was wondering what is the diffrence between these chargepipes COBB was much cheaper.

https://www.maperformance.com/produc...bmw-n55-7b2212

Cobbs Charge Pipe ^^^

http://www.**********s.com/evolution...MATIC-ONLY.htm

Evolution raceworks charge pipe. Seems to provide another type of pipe which i'm not sure of where it goes, was wanting to know if that extra pipe is worth almost twice the more money.

P:S

Evolution raceworks also provides Turbo to intercooler chargepipe for $225 is it worth it? Currently have stock intercooler, might upgrade later, but is it worth is now? if not will it be needed when i get an upgraded intercooler.

Thanks - Eddie

Will really appreciate you guys feedback.

Cobb one is for E-series N55, won't fit your car. Get the ER one, I have it and love it. It's just two pieces that connect with silicone in the middle. I have the TiC pipe as well. Not as needed as the CP, but I'm betting it won't hurt with other mods.

You can try and reuse the ones that are on there, if you think you can get them off without bending them up too much.

There is the Turbo to intercooler pipe, before the FMIC.

Then the regular charge pipe, which is post FMIC.

The one post FMIC is the most common to be replaced as the stock one is a huge failure point, especially on tuned vehicles.

The TIC Pipe is mainly upgraded when going to upgraded turbo's, however it can be upgraded on stock turbo's, it just adds to the overall efficiency but doesn't provide earth shattering performance.

C Clip is not needed unless you lost your stock one.

The MAP Performance Link you posted is not for this vehicle.

The other link is from a banned vendor, so that link won't work here.

Are there any issues to running a catless down pipe? Other than the smell i guess from the exhaust. Obviously, for emissions testing the OEM charge pipe would have to go back in. I'm thinking about replacing all three – Catless Downpipe, Charge pipe and TIC with the evolution raceworks products. Thanks.

Think you meant OEM DP would have to go back in which is correct depending on your emissions test. CP makes no difference as far as emissions goes.

D'oh! My bad. Yes, I meant the OEM downpipe. Thanks for clarifying that.
