Lowering car and replacing struts/shocks

I have a '13 Activehybrid 3 at 42k miles with stock suspension and stock everything essentially. I don't track the car but do drive pretty spiritedly and would like to lower it a little since getting new tires and rims (about an inch).

I'm split between a B14 Bilstein coilover combo or doing a spring/shock makeover. First, at 42k miles on my current stock shocks, should they be good for quite awhile more or is replacing it now worth it if I'm also going to put lowering springs.

Secondly, what is the preferred setup for my situation of not tracking. Price wise they seem like they're pretty similar with the coilovers at about $900 and the springs/struts for about $900 as well. If i decide to do the spring/strut route, I read that some people just replace the rear 2x struts is this advisable?

Also since my car has the "extra battery" in the rear trunk, how does this effect my overall choices since it's slightly heavier in the rear by a couple hundred pounds. Any help in choosing would be much appreciated, thanks!

Got it thank you! Forgot that a lot of people refer to it is as "AH3" which is probably why it didn't come up on search. Good to know that there are actually special springs out there for us because I almost bought one that possibly wouldn't have worked in the end.

Well I've got a KW coilover kit that isn't specific to hybrid 3 (just 6 cylinders F30) but still works fine for me despite the added weight in the back of the battery, so perhaps this is just refinement to have AH3 specific springs, hard to say.
