Modified 335d insurance

What are you guys who've had the 335d modded paying for insurance?

How does it compare to the non-modded 335d costs.

as long as the mod is typically less than a 25% increase then most insurers seem happy, expect at a guess somewhere upto a 20% increase.

Quattro, mine went up by 15%, but before you consider it check your insurance company will provide cover for a modification.

+1. Mine went up about 17% with BMW insurance and they were familiar with the mod as soon as I mentioned it. The excess went up as well, another £150.

I'm with privelege, they consider all my "options" as modifications, wrote to me re: renewal price of 700odd quid, did a confused.com quote that came out at 575 quid and they matched it when I called them. New car for old in first year and they cover the options where lots of insurers don't.
