e92: will pre lci wing mirror fit lci model

Hi all,

Recently got myself back in a 335i ( believe it to be quite a well known car off of this forum )

Its a LCI model and while I love most the subtle little changes on the lci model over the pre lci models. There is one thing I don't really like.

The wing mirrors, their huge

My question is are the pre lci wing mirrors a straight swap onto the lci ( base plates the same etc?)

As I much prefer the rounded look of them over the lci model ones.

Also can wing mirrors be coded to fold off of key if they are not folding mirrors?

Hmmm that sounds like a daft question.

What I mean is are there electric motors in all mirrors or were there different types, more wiring etc?

If so is it easy enough to wire new loom for the folding mirrors.

If they are manual folding you can't, you need power folding mirrors , not too difficult i wired mine ( my car is pre lci) and you need coding as well
