440i LCI coupe seat time

Anyone have any seat time in the new 440i LCI coupe?

Can you comment about the new handling and steering improvements? The reviews and articles are more or less regurgitated BMW press release...

I'm interested as well. I'll be able to review the LCI when I take delivery in about 1 month but unfortunately all I will have to compare it too is my f30 328ix...

Steering is improved and feels more direct, but the difference is subtle. I have a LCI F33 and this is compared to the F32 pre-LCI. Can't comment on other handling as this hasn't changed for the F33

I drove a 2017 for several months and just moved into a 2018. Unfortunately, the 2017 was a luxury line model with 18" wheels and all season tires, and the 2018 is an M-sport with 19" wheels and summer tires, so there are a lot more handling-related differences between the cars than just the LCI updates. That said, I can share a couple observations:

1) steering is still very light feeling even on the 2018, and even when in sport mode. It just doesn't have that classic BMW heavy feel I prefer.

2) on-center/off-center feel is still a little vague. It's better, but I swear the electric power steering assist still feels a little unnatural when making direction changes or crossing center. It's a BMW issue, as I have had EPS on other vehicles (heck, my Honda S2000 had it ages ago) and never had this observation.

3) Even on the 2018 with M-sport and 19" wheels/tires, steering and handling is good but not great. Even if the LCI improved things, it could still be better!
