18x9 ET40 on an XI

I know this is a close setup on NON-XI but we have slightly different geometry up front.. Would this fit with 255/35R18s or would a 245 fit better? It's a 2006 e91 325xi lowered on eibach springs.

Where have you read the front geometry is different? As far as I know the suspension points are in the same spot, sure the components are different to accommodate the drive shafts but the location of the hub should be the same.

The front struts/control arms are different than rwd

Correct. However, that is just the avoid the driveshafts, hubs are in the same location, no?

In all my years of research, I've never seen any info indicating xi has different fitments.

Ah ok.. I know on e46 there is a difference (the strut location allowed for higher offset wheels to fit) good to know that e90s are the same
