Where to buy KKS Performance Exhaust?

I love the sound of this exhaust, but I haven't seen any pricing or contact info.

This is the sickest sounding exhaust for the M3 thus far! I am interested in it myself when I get my M3 in a few months. I sent them a message on their website to find out if they have any distributors in the U.S. Let's see what they have to say.

Those brakes are nice. 8 piston up front and 4 piston rear. That's stopping power!

How much of a hole does "stopping power" put in the pocket?

I'm on the fence still. I might go with Brembo just to keep it pure.

I saw on their site, that the valve type exhaust will not be offered stateside. They said that the will have US bound setup without the valve.

I agree that this is possibly the best sound thus far. Too bad we may not be able to get it in the states. Hopefully I am wrong.

I just got word from KKS and this is what they have to say and it's not all good news:

Hi!

At the moment we don't have a US-representation. You can purchase all parts straight from Germany.

We are just about to build an export version of our Titanium exhaust (w/o the butterfly valves) that will be cheaper. This might be interesting for the US-market especially.

Thanks for your interest in our products.

Does this mean we can buy the valve exhaust straight from Germany? I'll have to send them another message to find out.

The Brembo BBK will set you back about $7K. It is 380mm all around with 6 piston front and 4 piston rear. There was a 405mm option for the fronts but Brembo said it would be a bit too heavy w/o noticeable performance gains. I have these brakes on other performance cars and they are great for track and amazing for street use. There is also some weight savings compared to stock brakes but don't know how much this is.

Stoptech also has a similar kit (380mm front and 355mm rears) for about $5 grand, you will be able to upgrade these to carbon ceramic come June or July for a little under $10K (yes, that is additional).

Or, you can go Brembo Race GT that are a little under $20K with calipers that save some serious weight as they are forge titanium etc.... the rotors in this application or NOT carbon ceramic and appear to be the same as the BBK.

Cheers,

Is that price for the system without butterfly valves? If so, what is the price with them?

Thanks.

Boris,

Can you provide us with some technical information about this exhaust system in English. Weight, power gains and pictures of the exhaust off the car would be appreciated.

As well, can you do the same for your short shifter kit.

Thanks!

The price with Butterfly valve system is $4199

It is included:

-CANBUS controlled ECU with LED switch system (blue or red)
-2 Pierburg valves stainless steel
-1 pressure reservoir

Everything is produced and developed in Germany by KKS-Performance GmbH

The hole system is TIG welded in Highend quality.

The export version makes the same sound like the system with butterfly valves opened. It is specially developed for the US market.

Here is a picture of the exhaust system and our new carbon airbox as well.

The exhaust produces about 10whp more. It weights 30% less.

The Airbox produces more than 15whp and much throttel response and sound.

It will cost $2800.

The short shifter is no longer produced sorry. Not enough response.

that air box certainly looks enticing. Why would it increase hp though? In other words, given the restraints of the intake and valves, it doesn´t appear to me that the bottle neck in terms of required air is the airbox. What am I missing here?

The Intake is not the problem. There is no bottleneck in the classic way. The intake system is not restrictive at all. The problem is the small volume of the original airbox. Our new carbon fiber airbox has about 10% more volume.

You can feel it the car is much more fun with that airbox.
