Is there now an accepted way of doing this safely?

I have seen reference to a front centre jacking point but my Bentley manual doesn’t mention it. There also seems to be disagreement on jacking up from the rear diff for instance. I’d rather not if it’s even slightly dodgy. Sods law and all that.

I have 2 x 2 ton jacks, 4 x stands, 2 x hockey puck adaptors and various bits of wood.

I need the car up on 4 x stands as I intend to do a gearbox and diff oil change.
