I'm looking to grab some new summer tires and was thinking about switching from Michelin PSS to these as every review says they are comparable. The problem is that TireRack does not have any reviews so I was hoping someone on this forum has actually tried these out.
Also, I'm currently running 235/265 on Apex 9/9.5 rims and I was hoping to go to 255/265, but I don't know if these run as wide as the PSS. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! |

Or if you really want 255's you might need a spacer and roll your fenders. Though yours might not be metal like mine.

I just had 235s installed on my fronts this morning...coming from 235s Falken 453s. So far there hasn't been any rubbing issues. Based on what I've read about the shoulders of the PSSs, I don't think I would have been able to handle PSS 235 in the front...so I don't think they are as wide as Michelins

I have Arc 8's in 18x9 et 30 in the front on a 255/35/18, some pics of different angels below Again, they'll fit but you're most likely not going to be able to 'dump' the car so if you can live with that you're good.

I am looking at these tires next and interested in what feed back anyone has on them.
Currently running APEX ARC-8 17x9 ET30 with Star Spec II 255/40 square. I got plenty of rubbing up front with stock sport suspension but M3 upper/lower arms and pins pulled with -1.9 camber. A little fender roll solved all of that. |

Depends on the body style and year. You need almost perfect offset for 255 and you still rub in most cases. You look like you're going super wide front, narrow rear. 255 only really fit on e90 in front without too many issues.

I just put these on my E92 335 and absolutely love the ride quality and handling. I also came from MPSS. The fronts had a little less than half life and the rears were at the wear bars at 20K miles.
The extreme contact sports are nothing like the outgoing DW and have much stiffer side walls comparable to the MPSS. They handle just as well if not better than the MPSS in my opinion. Wet handling is superior (but thats pretty subjective since I have new tread now). I am hoping they will last a little longer with the higher tread wear rating. Cant really comment on your fitment question. I run 235/40 18 F 265/35 18 R. My wheels are 18 x 8.5 et40 and 18 x 9.5 et 33 on stock suspension I also put these on our X5 50i about 5 months ago (275 F, 315 R) - and they make a really heavy SUV stick to the road unbelievably well. If you're a michelin fan then just hold out for the MPS 4S. Good luck! |

For the non-track man & comparable to MPSS but better in the wet and at a cheaper price point.
. . . Seems to be a tire that would suit most. I am going to try them out on my 2er. . . 2er is my daily. |

Contis usually ride a bit more narrow but idk this tire as its new. Still worried about the wear time and the 4PS is out. My buddy got his in 235/35-19 275/30-19 for his e93 a couple months ago and raves about them.oh, and 4PS is better in the rain than MPSS. Let's see how it compares to these.
