MPPSK for 340i
So I've decided my car isn't loud enough and thought it's time I took the plunge and got myself the M Performance Power and Sound Kit for my 2016 340i.
Interestingly, having called around to a few dealers, the prices for the parts and labour vary vastly. From "hmm that's not bad for a factory tune and exhaust with warranty", all the way to "hell no it'd be cheaper to cut the exhaust off completely and pay the defect notice fines every time you get pulled over". E.g. $3500-$6500! Has anyone had one of these fitted and if so, what sort of price were you paying? |

3500 isnt too bad! would you be able to tell me who quoted you that, as I am looking at going down the same route.
If anyone in Sydney with the MSSPK installed on their car would put up their hand to let me hear it in real life, that would be awesome! |

In comfort mode it sounds very different from stock, a metallic tone. Still louder than stock exhaust but definitely not disturbing. One bad thing is in sport mode you can hear drone between 1500-2000 rpm, the volume depends on how heavy the throttle is. On highway just switch to comfort mode or sport mode (chassis only), problem solved. It's hard to describe the sound and power, you are welcome to come and have a listen I think it is worth the cost. Truly gives this car more surging power and two different moods. |

Thanks boys- yep im worried about the drone.
Dont judge me, but I always drive in sport plus and manual mode as I cant handle the automatic and the 'too high' gear it always wants to be in, or the light steering in comfort which means if I get the exhaust, the valve will always be open. I might take up one of your offers if youre not too far from me! |
