Question: 4 Series LCI Standard LED with Projectors

I have tried to search with no real answer.

We all know the discussion between the pre-LCI HID with projectors vs. Non adaptive reflector LED vs. Adaptive Reflector LEDs.

Now with the new LED with projectors as standard on the 4 series LCI, does anyone have any experience with them when compared to the 4 series Adaptive LED with the reflectors?

I have the Adaptive LED right now, just need to know if it is still worth the $$ paying for the lighting package when the standard is also LED but with projectors, which IMO should provide better visibility.

I have the standard LED projectors which I really like with high beam assist. I hate that the adaptive light have to come with fog light, I'm not a fan.

If you get the track pack they delete the fog lights.

Also the best fit for OP is the adaptive. There are lots of complaints about the standard LEDs that are non adaptive.

I don't know the difference between any of these as I am not to the 4 series. I am picking up a 2017 440i xDrive Gran Coupe in a couple of weeks and it has a premium essentials package, which I believe means it does not have adaptive headlights and high beam assist as far as lights go. What will I be missing? This is Canada, so would the DRL still not be the angel eyes with flat bottom and bi-xenon headlights for nights?

yah but those complaints were mainly from 3 series LCI, which they still have the reflector LED.

The 4 series LCI comes with LED with projectors, at least on paper it should be much better than reflectors...

Just need to see if anyone actually has experienced both to compare.

I had a pre 4 LCI with reflectors. It was bright but it didn't cover as much road as my Xenons.

My wife's X1 has LED projectors (not adaptive), and the light output is about the same as my 340 with adaptive reflectors.
