Do I need new valve cover?

So, while replacing valve cover gasket, it seems like this piece broke off. Is my valve cover done for? Do I need a new one, or can I JB weld this one?
Everything else looks fine other than that little piece - see pictures.

bonus picture - my valves after 75k miles with 10k BMW dealership oil changes.
