ABS DTC and Start Assist

Hi All,

Just been on my way to the shop and did not notice a speed bump... was i would say a decent impact and considering i am wearing MV4 19" it did not help. (wasn't going too fast though, probably around 15-20 mph)

Now i have a ABS DTC and Start Assist error. It only appeared once i started my car again after the impact and did not disappear on my way home... what is potentially the worst and the best case scenario?

just in case someone else ever reads this... Garage said that the ABS pump is going as they could not get rid of the errors until they gave it a bit of a slap... so it released itself and errors are gone now. Best thing to do is to avoid hitting bumps for me from now on laters

For me (about a month ago), it ended up being an ABS sensor that needed replacing. Had the same errors as you along with a brief limp home mode that cleared after turning car off and on again.

I had same errors. Turned out to be wheel alignment

I had this, it isn't the pump itself but rather then connections inside the pump, they wear down due to the rotating action and cause the car to think the pump is not working.

Hence why even though the lights are on the brakes are perfectly pressurized etc. Have a look at these guys, they are good. I replaced mine myself but would recommend going to a shop if you are not too technical:
