Looks like the driver hit a tree or post. Airbag deployed so hopefully no one was injured. If it's in a salvage yard then it was probably totalled.

Well i'm gonna give you a few examples..keep in mind these are the ways things are done in NY ..Other states may not apply..

1) you can buy a salvage car at a great price and fix it with aftermarket parts and now you have an expensive car at a fraction of the cost

2) you can buy that same salvage car, go and steal yourself an identical car and swap all the parts and then send it out of the country and sell it for a crazy price
