Looks like the driver hit a tree or post. Airbag deployed so hopefully no one was injured. If it's in a salvage yard then it was probably totalled.

I wonder how much the reserve is..Would it be worth fixing that knowing that the engine is not damaged?

BMW should do a requirement test for bmw buyers. see if they are capable of driving these ultimate driving machines.
