JB+ and issues with Engine Deactivation?
Guys;
I recently installed a Burger JB+ to my 15 M235i and love the results. However, I've noticed since install engine deactivation doesn't always engage, even in Eco mode. I see the indicator on the dash engage but the engine doesn't always shut off. Is the added boost confusing the sensor that initiates this? Or is the capacitor bank just not charging enough when I do more HW driving and not enough braking? |

Are you talking about the start/stop function?
Its tempeture, runningtime, time since last shutdown and voltage sensitive if I remember correctly. Most times its the battery. But if it indicates a shutdown and engine is still running it must be something electrical confusing the cluster rather then the function itself. Again. I am just guessing. |

I think if you have SES light and JB4 is auto deleting the light for you, your engine will not engage in stop/go mode. I have BMS Intake, VSRF DP and JB4.

Not sure this helps but I have a JB+ installed in my 2016 235i and I don't have this issue when running in ECO-PRO mode. Start/Stop functionality works as it did before the JB+ install.

There is no indicator on the the dash when it shuts down beyond the rpm need moving to ready. An indicator does show up when it has decided to NOT shutdown. Look in the manual, it covers all the various situations where it will and will not shutdown.
