Headlight question

On a 2007 335i sedan, what are the inside 2 headlights called. I have xenon HID headlights, which are the outer pair. But the inner pair that are on while daytime driving are quite yellow in appearance, and I was wanting to change the bulbs to something whiter, but I don't know what these bulbs are called. I'm not asking about the angel eyes, but the lights in the middle.

Flash to pass lights. Also used when turning the wheel more than 50% to one side.

Thanks! Doing a search on that, I didn't realize there was such a controversy about those inner lights. I guess I'm not going to worry about them.

The question is, how the heck do you remove these bulbs to replace with LEDs ? I think the bulbs are H7 bulbs. I've access the headlight fairly easy from the front wheel well to swap OEM fog lights and angel eye bulbs with LEDs, but let me tell you, those inner daytime running light bulbs are NOT easy to remove and replace. I wonder if you need a special tool? Anyone on the forums ever swap these out? Any insight would be greatly recommended!

Yes and no.

Pre-LCI E90, inner lights are flash to pass high beams and DRL.

LCI E90, inner lights are cornering lights only and come on with turn signal or turning the wheel at low speeds, or both will come on in reverse. Flash to pass is handled by xenons.

They are just very deep inside the housing, accessed from the rear of the light. Need some long pliers to unplug the wires and pull the bulb out.

They are also just held in by friction instead of a twist lock like some other headlight bulbs, so you need a good bit of force to pull them out.

So, what kind of bulbs fit? Something not quite as yellow, doesn't have to be LED.

Garage List
They are H7 bulds. I swapped mine for 6000K halogen bulbs to give a whiter light.
I remember they are a PITA to change as access is very restricted
