Pics of my 340i
Thought I'd share some pics of my ride. Just passed 1 yr and just over 15k miles!
*2016 340i s-drive *8 speed ZF auto *HK system *Sport Line *Brushed Aluminum sport Interior with gloss piano black trim, red contrast stitching (looks dope, more attitude than the loaners I've been getting) *Rear camera, parking assistant *moonroof *OEM gloss black exhaust tips port installed. Would be cool if I could use them on the MPPSK *OEM black kidney grills port installed *OEM 19" Rims (not sure what code) *LED Headlights and Fog Lights, LCI *Navigation with 10.5? screen (it's the larger screen, which I believe comes with navi i-drive. This is one of the few must have's in my opinion that wasn't already standard on US spec 340 but came with this car as I asked for it) *Official M License Plate Frames (steel black color, was thinking of getting the CF but they're pricey and already got the ones I have now, not sure if CF was available at the time but maybe it was, the frames did not come with the car purchased separately from dealer but should have probably got them from ecs tuning or getbmwparts) I got the all weather floor mats, anyone interested in OEM floor mats let me know. Nice! Surprised the Sport Line edition didn't come with the black chrome tips (?). My car came with them standard-no port install required.
Where did you get your all weather mats? I want those lol.

Maybe they are standard, I've seen 340's in my area and they all have regular chrome tips though and sport line was standard in 2016. I think mine is the only 340 I've seen with the black tips. The all weather floor mats are OEM so they should be on the shopbmwusa website or any dealer, though you may have to order them. They also make sport line all weather floor mats with red highlight but I prefer the standard ones. I don't actually know if they were port installed or installed at the dealer, I didn't custom order my car, it was the way it was when I brought it.

Looks good! I like the black grilles against the white. Was considering them for my grey 340i since they'll match the shadow line trim but the chrome is starting to grow on me.

Yeah I'm also wondering if the black piece just above the exhaust is supposed to be chrome vs black. I'll have to look at pics of how it looks normally. So that would be another piece that's blacked out on my car vs regular sport line.

Yeah I was glad it came with the car, so the dealer's call on that one but thanks to them. It was a nice bonus since the black grills cost some $$ on the official site. Now I'm thinking I want the 340i badge to be black, I would have to plasti-dip them or something like that, or de-badge. Though de-badging would make more sense if I was trying to make it look like an M3 with quad exhaust and replacing the fenders with M ones. (And maybe a Jb4 tune so I can back it up with some ponies). Most likely I'd go with making it black, maybe put some primer on it first as I've seen some bad examples of paint peeling off chrome.

Hot topic on debadging, lol. I debadged mine the day I bought it off the lot, but not for trying to have others think it's something other than it is, I simply don't like the look...it's just cleaner looking to me. IDC what other drivers think as I'm not stopped in traffic asking their opinion anyways, lol.
I've plasti-dipped before and what I noticed was it looks good for about a year or so, then after many washes later, the plastic thins out to the point where you can actually see the chrome coming through. Hated that and was too lazy to reapply, lol. |

I'm not sure what the style code is for them. I do have the original sticker so it might be on there. I'll see if I can find it on there when I get home. Haven't seen any other car with them so far.
