Air compressor and tools question

Mastercraft 8 Gallon Air Compressor features 135 max PSI, 1.5 running HP

-Working pressure: 105-135 psi
-Rated air flow: 4.8CFM@40PSI, 3.5CFM@90PSI

Mastercraft 1/2-in Air Impact Wrench

-Requires a CFM of 3.7 @ 90 PSI
-Delivers 420 ft-lb of torque (7500 RPM)for tightening and removing stubborn nuts and bolts up to 5/8”

Is the Air compressor strong enough to power the impact wrench?

Garage List
I would get something with a bit bigger of a tank. It flows pretty good.

Yes that air compressor can run that wrench when the air tank is full and at full pressure of 135psi, however, you will not be able to run it for more than about 1 minute before the air pressure drops below 90 psi. This is due to the air impact wrench consuming 3.7 GPM at 90 psi, while the compressor can only put back the air at 3.5 GPM. When the pressure drops below 90 psi, the wrench will still run, but you'll have low torque.

So, if you if this is something you do infrequently and don't mind having to wait a minute or so for the air compressor to 'catch up', you are probably fine. If you worked in a tire shop and changed tires all day, you'd need a bigger compressor.
