Spacers or new rims and tires?
2009 335i sadan w/ M sport package.
Should I just add spacers 20 back 15 front or get new wider rims and tires? Anyone know of a good wide rim and tire combo for this car? |

Wider wheels
Anything apex makes, they're very light, durable and relatively affordable. Also 20 is much too big for the rear of an lci.

If you're wanting to stay away from spacers, I would recommend getting the entire wheel instead of just the rim. Its a pretty custom job to change the rims on your wheels. Below is 15/20 spacers

On my 2010 E90 M 335i, I had the 18" hyper silver Apex Arc-8's and I loved them. The car handled better and felt much more nimble. From the stock 193M wheels, I shed about 7lbs per wheel by switching to Apex and I could really feel the difference.
Front: 18x8.5 et38 (I'd suggest the 18x9 et42) Rear: 18x9.5 et35

It all depends on original wheel offset. do some measuring to find out how much room you have.

What is your current set up?
M- sport.. 18" rims 225 width in the front & 255 in the rear ? They say to go conservative 12mm front & 15mm in the rear. There is a way of measuring, in order to determine which width of spacers are appropriate per axel. You should look up the diy for this. |
