When will US website and ordering capability be ready?

Attempted to discuss order with Dealership and although options were available, pricing was blocked. Wishing to know when US website (bmwusa) will be operational for the X3 G01 series (so we can see all options) and when will Dealerships be able to place orders.

August is just around the corner...

Thank you, strike4A - had a fun time building our M40i on it! Hoping the price isn't an exact conversion back over to the US, though, as the one I built came in around $84K.

Keep in mind that prices on the German site include 19% VAT. You're looking at closer to $68k for your configuration.

Good to hear, egon0119 - I didn't realize that but suspected global charges probably will vary some per region c/w our US pricing. Thanks!

Agree, and glad to see they introduced that concept into our X3 line.

So around $70K for a fully loaded X3 M40i? That's manageable, especially with some great lease residuals for their best selling model.

X4 base price is around $5k more then base x3 (28i)

x4m40i is $66k with all options.

so 70k for x3m40i ???

it doesnt make sense x3m40i will be more expensive then x4m40i...

Sure, why not. New G01 will have more options/packages that are unavailable in the X4, so it's reasonable that BMW would want to charge more for such.

I'm expecting X3 M40i with most options checked will be in the $62-65k range for US. If you hit $70k you'll be doing something wrong.

Guaranteed $70K with destination + 21" wheels, or "as shown" in all these press materials.

Well let's play the game. My predictions:

X3 M40i base price $55k
Destination $1000
Paint $750 (if you don't like white)
21" wheels $1000
Premium pack (incl rear heated seats) $3500
Driving assistance pack $1700
DAP plus $1200 (no thanks)
Parking assistance pack $700 (no thanks)
Executive pack $No idea but no thanks
Adaptive suspension $1000
HK audio $900
Apple carplay $300
Total: $67,050 plus whatever Exec pack adds.

So maybe it hits $70k but I hope not. My build will likely be $64,400 MSRP.
For reference a fully loaded SQ5 is $68k and a fully loaded GLC43 AMG is $73k.

You're on the right track, but considering that both 20" and 21" are upgrade options, I would expect 20s to be $900-1000, and 21s to be $1500-1900. I expect Executive pack to be at least $2K.

So there we have it, $70K without difficulty. I'm not complaining, as each the 5 main option packs look really appealing to me. My past 3 BMWs have all been fully loaded, and I got plenty of use out of all the options.

Yes, there won't be an X3 35i. Same with current 2-series and next-gen 3-series. Top tier series model is known as M40i. No more 335i, 340i etc, at the top.

Seriously, you're not kidding. It's a palette of grandma colors. I guess we'll try to pick the least boring color...

I really like that super dark gray/nearly black color tho... surprisingly nice. I thought it would just look like black with a layer of flim/soot/dirt. But no.

It looks like the interior is slightly different in the German tool. The buttons on the radio/climate control look black. Frankly, the one thing I haven't warmed to on the new X3 is all the silver on the buttons and was hoping there would be another option. I'm guessing there won't be in the US, though.
