Are you willing to do a m3 conversion on your e90 or e92?

I am Tim from Path Engineering. I just want to have a quick poll to see if any of the e90 and e92 owners out there wants to do a m3 conversion on there vehicle. All of the parts are going to be aftermarket from vis. Which is more bang for the buck. The pricing is a ball park price

Fenders in FRP(oem emblem is included) - 415
Front bumper is FRP - they haven't gave me a qoute yet
Hood is going to be in carbon fiber - 1550

shipping price in not included.

Fitment of VIS is really not that great, and I definitely don't want to be a 1:1 copy car of the new M3, some wide fenders for the front and back are nice, but trying to pretend to be what you really aren't is not my cup of tea.

lol are you kidding me? VIS is just as bad as seibon. The weaves on their carbon fiber SUCK, fitment SUCKS, quality SUCKS. Only good thing about them is the price but then again you are paying for what you get and the money you saved going with VIS will probably all be spent in paying the installer extra because of the crap fitment. But then again if you like to hang out with guys at the shop then this might be the company for you as it will take them hours to ge the fitment right which will give you ample time to become best friends with the shop.

To the OP, most if not everyone here knows the quality of stuff VIS puts out and im sure you will loose a lot of customers alone just because VIS is making this stuff for you.

a huge VIS sticker across the back window should do fine.

+10000.

i would actually do this if a company made a rep that actually fit correctly. But i would DEFINITELY not buy it if its made from VIS. They always give this 100% garuntee fitment bs. But fitment is seriously like a 0. So i guess 100% of 0 is still zero so they are not lying.

Are the fenders flared like the M3 or will they be stock width with the vent?

i.e. is it an all or none kit?

I wouldn't mind having the M3 front bumper actually. It's one of only 2 M3 "conversion" mods I would do. That and the hood.

Sorry, I just think this kind of "posing" is very lame.

It wouldn't be so bad if a company just made flared fenders with a CF vent piece, but when you start slapping ///M's on a non M car it makes me wish I had for hands so I could

The car would also look stupid with wide body front fenders and regular fenders in the rear.

+1 stock width with a CF vent would be amazing IMHO.
