Help with CCC to CIC Retrofit

Posting this here for a quicker response (car is currently apart and I'm hoping to put it back together asap).

I took out my old CCC unit and have a few questions before I install my CIC. I tried searching but could not find an answer to them:

1) Picture 1: I removed 3 plugs attached to my old CCC unit - black radio plug, blue GPS plug and and unknown black plastic plug (circled in red). What is this plug for, there isn't anywhere to plug it into the CIC?

2) Picture 2: What is the pink plug (circled in red)? I understand the pink plug in the top right is for the GPS, but no clue what this is for. I am thinking perhaps it is for SAT radio or HD radio (both of which are stated on the CIC sticker from my donor CIC)?

3) I bought this PnP emulator:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/BMW-E9X-E8X-E...hUbvnl&vxp=mtr

Looking online, I believe I still have to remove the MOST cables from my original CCC harness (circled in red in pictures 3 and 4) and plug it directly into the CIC. Is this the case?

1. Did that original plug go to the CCC fan? If so you don't need it with a CIC.
2. That pink plug is for the sat. It is not required. You may have a pre wire antenna for sat antenna under the trunk floor that you could extend to the front. ebay has cheap farka extensions. Run the donor CIC VIN to see if sat is enabled. Otherwise you need a fsc code to enable the sat tuner hardware.
3. Yes you need to move the most fiber cables as those are not extended in the emulator harness.
