hi

are there any springs that have good damping whilst lowering?

i have seen the acs springs. but has anyone used dinan in uk??

Doubt it very much as Dinan don't have any representation in UK [or EU for that matter].

You might be better off talking to Birds nr Slough, as they have done lots of work developing their springs for F3x 6cyl xdrive.

Perhaps go and test drive their blue 435d demo car they have for sale....

are there any coilovers set that can retain the comfort of oem adpative suspension but still lower car. is this possible?

Springs are not dampers. Quality dampers will overcome a deficiency of travel to a point. So 3" of well damped travel can be better than 4" of OEM. But if you keep decreasing travel, it gets worse as it is suited only for high speed smooth track racing.
